Transformers: Age of Extinction

This one is a beast on a good home-theater setup. The explosions hit hard, the Transformers sound effects are huge, and the bass really gets going during the battles. The surround channels also stay busy with metal impacts, gunfire, and flying effects.

Note : If you want to test your subwoofer and crank up the volume, this is a great choice

sound was really good in the theatre. The bass was very powerful during the fights and explosions. Surround sound was also good and I could feel the sound coming from different sides. The transformer sounds were very clear and had good impact. Atmos effects were also nice, especially during the action scenes. Overall very enjoyable movie for sound and big screen experience.

This is a terrible movie if you are looking for a movie that has properly writtten characters and central themes ... It is however the most over the top egregious use of bass that I have ever played in my home theater. THe opening scene is nearly 2 minutes of bass that extends rediculously low in the single digits at extremely strong levels; and there are at least 10 other scenes that do similar throughout the movie... If I want to show what my theater can do... this is an amazing choice to show the sheer power of what Michael Bay can create.
