Overview

The new Atmos reference disc
This is what you bought ceiling speakers for. The carrier launch hits like a physical event — the catapult slam, the afterburner ignition, the way the jet rips overhead and disappears behind you. Then it just keeps going. The canyon run is the sequence you'll demo for friends; bogeys pass directly over the couch with trajectory you can point at, not a vague wash of height ambience. Cockpit comms stay crisp inside helmets that sound genuinely sealed. The bar scene piano carries weight, the Mach 10 hypersonic test has sub-bass that bottoms out anything reasonable, and the final mission tracks every missile lock and flare burst across the room with purpose. If there's a nitpick, it's that quieter ground scenes feel almost too restrained between flight sequences — you'll be reaching for the remote. But airborne? Nothing else on disc does it like this. Reference, earned.
