Overview

Young hobbit Frodo Baggins, after inheriting a mysterious ring from his uncle Bilbo, must leave his home in order to keep it from falling into the hands of its evil creator. FOTR is my favorite of the LOTR trilogy. It has impeccable dynamics and clarity in the quietest and loudest of scenes. There are few tracks that rival this for overall bang for the buck..

The sound was excellent in the theater. The dialogue was clear, the bass was powerful, and the surround effects made the action scenes feel very immersive. The music sounded amazing and added a lot of emotion. The Moria and Balrog scenes were especially impressive. Overall, a great movie with a fantastic theater sound experience.
