The Greatest Showman

The Greatest Showman sounds big and lively in Dolby Atmos. The songs are the main attraction, and the mix gives them plenty of room. The vocals stay clear even when the music gets busy, so the singing doesn’t get buried under the instruments.

The bass adds a solid punch to the music and gives the bigger performances more energy. It works well with the rhythm without taking attention away from the vocals. This is a fun soundtrack to turn up on a home theater system.

The surround speakers bring in the crowd and fill out the performances, making the sound feel wider than the screen. The height speakers help create that larger space, although distinct overhead effects aren’t the main strength here. Much of the music stays focused up front, with the rest of the speakers supporting it.

If you enjoy musicals, the 4K Blu-ray Dolby Atmos soundtrack is well worth a listen. Clear vocals, punchy bass and room-filling music make this a good home theater demo, especially when you want to show how your system handles songs.
