Alien Invasion Sound

Still a lot of fun to watch. The alien invasion, huge spaceships, and action scenes make this a classic blockbuster. The sound is fantastic for a home theater. The explosions hit hard, the alien ships have a deep rumble, and the surround effects make the battles feel huge.

Independence Day (1996) still sounds great in DTS:X

I watched Independence Day in DTS:X, and it still sounds really good. The alien ships feel huge, and the city attack fills the room with explosions and debris. The jet fights move nicely through the surround and height speakers, with strong bass underneath. This is a great DTS:X movie to turn up loud.
