Ghostbusters: Afterlife

Afterlife is a lot of fun with a good sound system. The proton packs, ghost effects, Ecto-1, and action scenes give the speakers plenty to do, with some really nice bass moments. The surround effects also make the ghost scenes feel more immersive.

bass had very good impact, especially during the Ghostbusters action scenes. The surround and Atmos effects were also very good and made the ghost scenes more exciting. The Ghostbusters equipment sounds and background music were really nice. Overall, a very enjoyable theatre audio experience with excellent sound design.

I waited a few years to view this movie. It just didn't look like my cup of tea. i love the original, and the trailer for this didn't look very engaging at all. I bought it on the Kaleidescape for 4.99, figuring it's worth at least a watch; and boy was I wrong. It had the most unique bass I have heard in a movie in quite some time. It was crisp, varying in frquency and timed to perfection. The movie was actually very good for a reboot of a series that uses old stories and characters. it is a must watch; and arguably the most fun I have had in my theater since adding Crowsons.
