fire sound
I watched this movie in theatre long back, and I still remember the sound of the fire scenes. The explosions and fire effects had great impact, and the surround sound made the scenes feel very real. The background music was also excellent.
Fire that actually has a voice
Flames inhale before the backdraft hits and the room goes silent for a half-beat - Burning timbers crack overhead with directional snaps you can point at - Hans Zimmer's brass swells from the sides while the chemical plant collapses underneath
